I am right where you are now, and my (possible) beginning to treatment could be closer than either of us know.. I think we all (that don't know) badly need an answer to this question.. To build now, or to wait to re-build, that is the big question.. I will also ask both doctors, one on Thursday, the GI on Monday.. Sheena marvindamartian05 <marvindamartian05@...> wrote: Thanks, Tim! now Sheena has me thinking, I am supposed to anything either way with my immune system if I am going on tx? My thought was that the stronger it is, the better, but now that may not be so. If the meds have to fight with my strong immune system, will that make it harder for the meds to clear the virus? Accckkkk and double Accckkkk! well wait a min you guys,,, the Interferon is an immune booster and the Riba is the antiviral,, so anything that will help your immune system kill this virus is a good thing.. boosting your immune system will not cause your tx to be less effective.marvindamartian05 <marvindamartian05@...> wrote: Thanks, Tim! VERY GOOD hon,, this IS the way you should eat on tx or off tx,, its very healthy! its gonna pay of in dividends bigtime,, God Bless!marvindamartian05 <marvindamartian05@...> wrote: Can't wait to hear what the 2 docs say! Wow, well if this doesn't kill it, I don't know what will! I am printing.. :) I am still more than confused, think I've been reading TOO MUCH, and I have to agree with you that the Holistic Doc and the Conventional Doc will not agree, but I will hear them both out.. Getting a bit nervous now, it's been a long wait and that's almost over, decisions will have to be made.. Once I go with the fight, it will be all or nothing.. , I have heard that too,, about the liver being the seat of anger and rage,, but you did NOTHING in the way of being angry that caused you to get this virus,, it takes blood to blood contact to get it,, not anger sweetie,, you will find that the acupuncture will help relieve stress,, we DO have a licensed Acupuncturist here on this forum, Im sure she will show up sooner or later and tell you more about it if you are interested!marvindamartian05 <marvindamartian05@...> wrote: All the answers

will come I am sure, along with more questions. Likeyou, I have been reading too much. Tomorrow I am going for acupunctureat Pacific Holistic -it's in Irvine. I need to do something to relievestress, and a nice guy at the support group said it did wonders forhis wife, who also holds all of her stress in her back and shoulders. Also, I am not too much into New Age philosophy, but my ex is, and hesays that the liver is the center of "anger and rage". I take that tomean that being angry and cranky and stressed doesn't help the liver. If anyone else knows any more about this, let me know if I aminterpreting it wrong. It's sort of interesting...amde me wonder..."ifI have this liver disease, what the heck was I so mad about to getit!". :) susan Apologies > > in advance if this subject has been previously beat to death, > > > but I have a question about strengthening my immune system, > > > specifically to 1) fight the virus and slow it down, and 2) get > > ready > > > for tx and stave off any other viruses/diseases while my defenses > > are > > > down.>

me too,, REALLY REALLY angry and scared spitless!!! I was on duty on the ambulance when my hubby told me and then I called my doc back,, it is a day I will NEVER forget! I wish I could but honestly, maybe this has been a blessing in many ways,, I have learned to reorganize my life and put whats really important in the front of my life and toss the inconsequential things to the curb!marvindamartian05 <marvindamartian05@...> wrote: Thanks Jax!
