Guest guest
Hi Amber, I so totally sympathize with you about the questions asked at evals. There were many things that appeared to be so ridiculous that they asked me about my daughter. My older son, who has no issues (other than now he is almost 13 years old and is impossible to live with), definitely could not or did not do many of the tasks asked about at the eval. Some of the questions seem to have to do more with personality than with delays. However, it is really worth it if you end up getting Hunter into a good program. My daughter's progress since starting an e.i. preschool in September has been amazing. She had never even put two words together before and now she is even sometimes putting three words together. She still has a long way to go, but I believe that the stimulation she gets in 2 1/2 hours a day at preschool has done more for her than any of her therapy. (I also think that the ProEFA had a large part in her progress.) So hang in there! Barbara Barsham2000@...
