Dear Kathy,

I am not a certified reading specialist. I am only making suggestions.

Perhaps, you can contact the Orton Gillingham Dyslexia Society

http://www.ortonacademy.org/. There is a local branch in NJ. They may

be able to refer you to an Orton certified reading specialist, who

would be able to make a definitive statement regarding your child's

true reading ability.
