Guest guest
Hi, Actually, nodules can occur in almost any type of arthritis. I have Reactive Arthritis and have nodules on my jaw, fingers, wrist, hip, & toes. (only on my left side, though)Steph in VA ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ > >Hi Joy, >I also have arthritis, recently diagnosed with Inflammatory Arthritis but my rheumatologist isnt for sure yet if it is RA or a close cousin. I have a negative RA Factor. But, he also tells me that 20-30% of people test negative and have RA. If your dr is not a Rheumatologist I would suggest you go see one. I have done alot of reading on the subject and RA is the only one that produces the nodules that i know of. Of course I am no expert, that is why i see a rheumy. I also have trouble with hands, knees, ankles and just about every joint there is. There are some good treatments out nowadays for this. Good luck and God Bless. > >Joy wrote: >Hi I am 58, will be 59 next month and have arthtitis, fibro, heart, diabetes, high >blood pressure, depression, problems sleeping. >My dr. did some blood work but says I don't have RA.
