I am having a problem finding a pediatrician in my area who is

knowledgeable about Apraxia. Do you know of any in the NE Indiana

area? I would greatly appreciate this information, and the sooner

the better.

Thank you

Dear Sillybear:

I would begin with developmental-behavioral pediatricians who are in

your area. Not knowing the geography of your area, I would presume

you are not far from either Chicago or Cleveland. You can make

contact either with Rainbow Babies or the Cleveland Clinic, in one

direction, or Northwestern U, Loyola, etc. in the other. You can

also go on the website http://www.dbpeds.org, to get information on

members of the Society of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, to

which many people (myself included) belong.

Good luck,
