Guest guest
I've been flooded with requests for contact info for the LA podiatrist who knocks out plantar warts with bleomycin, so I'm posting the information. One word of caution: a member I greatly respect sent word to me that there is a lifetime limit on the amount of bleomycin one can receive. Speak to the doctor about that. The podiatrist is: Mark Weissman, D.P.M. Suite 509 Midway Medical Plaza 5901 W. Olympic Blvd. Los Angeles, CA 90036 Phone: 323-938-3338 Fax 323-938-9379 Dr. Weissman is a nice guy with a great bedside manner. He is totally comfortable with HIV patients. His office is in the same building that houses Dr. Gottlieb, Dr. Musikanth and several other HIV docs. The podiatrist using interferon is Dr. Liddy, phone 310-652-2713. The interferon worked, but I was unhappy with his bedside manner. A dermatologist I highly recommend is Dr. Han Lee USC Assistant Professor of Clinical Dermatology Director, USC Dermatologic Surgery and Cutaneous Oncology (323) 865-0983 hannlee@... She sees patients in an office in Glendale, CA, which is just north of Downtown LA. She accepts insurance. Call the above number for more information. Email her for specific questions about your wart problems. If she can't help you, then she'll refer you to another USC dermatologist who can. Steer clear of Tower I.D.'s podiatrist Dr. ph. He'll fit you for orthodics for any foot problem, including warts. Also, stay away from dermatologist Harvey Abrams. Contact me off list for more information about him.
