Guest guest
Hi Rose and ! I'm happy to see there are more teenagers being represented in our group! Please do keep us all posted to the progress on the Omega 3/6 as most of the anecdotal findings on the web right now in this area are with younger children. I just was sent an email from the myelin disorder list where the question was is there an age where the EFAs would no longer help. From what I've read that answer would be no - but I'll be sure to check with some of the neuromedical doctors to know for sure. (and check with Sallie Bernard about the exciting new possible EFA research I just told her about) Rose -check with your doctor but no reason you can't use both the cod liver and the ProEFA if she says it's OK. Keep in mind that you do then change the composition of the amounts of EPA, DHA and GLA -maybe to make it better -maybe not. That's the thing we don't know yet. As far as dose. Here is a repost that sums up the dosing question in a nut shell. Unfortunately right now unless you are looking for the EFA dose for a kitten or a horse -there are not many guidelines yet for humans other than we know about one capsule of ProEFA will be added to formula (and is the dose per bottle or per day? Big difference there!) From: "
