[ ] gross stuff....amazing sentence

I looked forward to Christmas vacation so much all year as my entire

family came to our house from all different states. My sister and 11

month old baby ....first girl grandkid....hooray!....came all the way

from San Diego....her husband is on ship in the sea somewhere with

Navy. Anyway, Christmas Eve her baby began throwing up and to make

a long story short it went throught the whole family and we have

spent the entire week in a fog and a daze! My eight yr. old was the

only one who was totally fine the whole week and bored and dying to

do stuff. Today he got off the school bus complaining of a tummy

ache and about one hr. later missed the toilet with his first

big " throw up " ......in all the years of being a parent and caring for

children I have never seen such a mess.......it literally SPLASHED

eight feet and went EVERYWHERE!! Apparently they had just served

him choclate cake at school. You can well imagine how tired and achy

and depressing it was to look at this next parenting

job!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cleaned him up, got him a sip of water and as he

and i stood looking at this awful mess he said, " Sorry

mom " .......well my globally apraxic son who couldn't even say " ball "

at age two comes up and stares at it with us and says spontaneously

in a voice as clear as a bell: " Don't worry, it is just soft wet

food that your tummy doesn't need C.J. " I proceeded to giggle my

way through the yucky job as I thought about how hilarious this

was!!! Just had to share this story with all of you..hope I didn't

get anybody grossed out.....but this is a place to share the pains

with the joys, right? :) Carol (one exhausted mother)

Vomit, poop, whatever! :-) As long as we can rejoice along with you, I

don't care what the circumstances are, it's great to hear!
