I'm going to piggy- back on this post and encourage all of you to get involved

wherever you can with the upcoming workshop, dinner and rally to support our

Food Freedom. Today it's Alvin, last summer the Hartmanns... who is next? We

have a great opportunity coming up to band together in a positive way, show our

support of our farmers and expose others to the idea of developing a direct

farmer to consumer relationship. We are so fortunate to be where we are, both

geographically and philosophically in this group. Spread the word, show your

support.

If you'd like to volunteer with helping out at the dinner or workshop or you'd

like to donate funds or food, please contact me (szahratka@... or Deanna

Yes People!

Let's band together on this rally for Alvin! We want as many people as possible

to come out for this event. And really, it's not just about an event. It's

about a person, Alvin, and it's about standing up for our RIGHTS to consume the

food that we choose.

We need to send a message that this is an important issue to the people of

Minnesota, so please come the rally and bring your kids, you mom, and your

grandparents! We know it's early in the morning, but come anyway! Take a few

hours off if you have to!

As for the rights workshop on Mother's Day, you will get to hear some nationally

known speakers, and we are planning a delicious and nutrient dense meal for

afterwards. What better way to celebrate?

Please do get involved! Many hands make light work. It's not just that it's a

need, but it's a privilege to help out with this, and it's fun to work together

on it.
