Guest guest
Yes, these tartlets were, for me, the highlight of my food summer! You must certainly try to make them. I'd say they would be good with strawberries, blueberries, peaches, or just about any fruit. However, Becca, I prefer to call them PIE CHERRIES, I don't know, there was nothing " sour " about your dessert! I'm still amazed with the weather change, we've never harvested our pie cherries much before the 4th of July, and now, it was early June. Summer is flying by though, be sure to give some thought to June 20th, the last of the lengthening days of sunshine for this summer. Guest guest
I love sour cherries, but where can you buy them in Minnesota? My neighbors have a tree, but this year they practically have no cherries and they are way too sour. Would love to find a reliable source. Please help if you know a place. Thank you. Guest guest
All, I was fortunate to eat one of these tartlets and I have to say that they are by far, the most delicious dessert tartlets I have ever tasted - and I have tasted and made zillions. I also think they would be good with all relatively tart fruits. Make them now!
