Re: side effects with PRO EFA

After about ten days on Pro EFA my son developed diarrhea. Someone on this

site or on the Speech Diet site mentioned that for their child it lasted

seven days. So for seven days I nervously ignored it and on the seventh day

it stopped. But this was with Nordic Naturals Pro EFA. I'm a big fan of it

after trying other fish oils. Obviously I can't say for certain that what

you experienced would quit after seven days.

I tried Salmon Oil Omega 3 supplements on my 3 year

old son, Kenny, and myself. The bottle said to take

1-2 tablets with each meal. I just started he and I

out on 1 tablet a day and by the 3rd day both he and I

had sevre intenstinal cramping and diarrhea. I stopped

giving them to the both of us and within 2 days we

were doing better. I am a little worried that an EFA

of Omega 3 and Omega 6 might cause the same reaction.

Have you heard of anyone having problems taking EFA or

ProEfa?
