Guest guest
Amber, Have you read Late Talking Children by Sowell? Your story reminds me of his stories about his son and other bright speech delayed children he studied. Congratulations on Hunters progress and don't worry too much about him not fitting into a specific diagnoses. My older son is like that-I had to learn to watch him, try different approaches and if one approach didn't work try another. I taught him to read 4 years before anyone discovered he had tracking problems (visual disability). Guest guest
Dawn, Thank you! I'll look up that book ~ it sounds interesting! I keep wanting to play things by ear but it's difficult sometimes. I'm glad you stuck with it with your older son. =) Mother's never cease to amaze me. ~~ Amber ~~
