Hi Dawn,

" Unlikely " to get summer services for " just " verbal apraxic

children? Not from what I've seen and heard. Almost every " just "

verbal apraxic child I know receives summer therapy in their IEP-or

they are fighting for it (and according to Sussan and Greenwald

http://www.special-ed-law.com who are NJ special ed attorneys that

are wonderful and respected-the diagnosis of verbal apraxia auto

qualifies a child for summer therapy.) So maybe you can look into it

further for your son (but from what you've written it sounds like

he's doing great)

As far as supplements - if you tried them and they didn't work then

please let us know -you never did. We don't argue that therapy alone

isn't successful - we do say it's been shown anecdotally that many

times EFA supplements, especially ProEFA first and Efalex second, may

accelerate (help) the therapy process.
