Guest guest
Hi everyone. Thought I would share what is going on with Mollie (9 years old, 1p36 deletion syndrome) Mollie was evaluated in July for a communication device. The recommendation was made that Mollie would benefit from a device and they wanted to try 2 different devices. She would have each devise for about a month and they we would decide what devise would be best for her. So she had the assessment in July and then one thing after another happened and she didn't actually get the first devise until January 3. Mollie started ProEfa on November 21. Now the SLP that is working with Mollie and teaching her to use the DynaMyte is wondering why they recommended the DynaMyte. The SLP thinks Mollie will not use the DynaMyte because she has so much speech! LOL Everyone is amazed at how much Mollie has improved. We had Mollie's IEP yesterday and Mollie met all of her speech goals. I told everyone about the ProEfa. Some were interested and some were just being polite. I said something about taking her off the EFA to see if it was the supplement or not and Mollie's speech therapist said " Don't you dare! " I was telling a friend about Mollie's progress and she said. " I can tell. When she interrupts you on the phone I can understand her now. " LOL MeFergie@...
