Hi, I just found this group from the gfcf message board, and I have

so many questions! First I'll tell you about my little angel :)

, 21/2,was diagnosed with autism in November. He progressed

fine until 18 months, then he just went into his own world, and was

completely non verbal. He's been going to therapy for almost a year

now. When I got his diagnosis, I went online and read everything I

could about autism. I decided to put him on the gluten/casein free

diet, and he has made so much progress! It's so great to see my

little boy coming back!

I also have him on Super NuThera. Now, during the past 2 weeks, he's

making so many new sounds, and you could tell that he's trying to say

words. Here's what he says so far: " tee " (for teeth), " nye nye " (for

night night), uh-oh, and today he started saying " yuc " for yuck. He

gets so excited when he comes close to getting the word right.

Now on to my questions :)

1) A speech therapist mentioned apraxia once, I'll see her again on

Monday, so I'll ask her about it. Does Jake's speech sound like any

of your kids?

2) Does anyone else here have an autistic child?

3) I saw a lot of posts about ProEfa, has it made a big difference

with your kids? If it turns out that he doen't have apraxia, this

supplement wont have any side effects will it?

4) Besides ProEfa, what else has helped your kids?

Well I guess that's it for now, I'm sure I'll have more questions

later! Thanks for reading my post, and I look forward to talking

with you all

~Janine
