Guest guest
Greetings. My name is Don and I'm a new male member of the group. The two articles in digest 2738 about female viagra and testosterone patches: am I understanding correctly that these medications increase sexual desire in women? If so my question is, when are they going to find a pill to increase sexual desire in men? I know that sounds crazy; everyone thinks gay men are sex hounds. Unfortunately, it simply is not true; at least for me.I have had extremely low libido/sexual desire for almost 2 years. I'm sure it is related to the three (3) anti-depressants I take. Thankfully I am not depressed anymore. However, having no libido is extremely frustrating. Viagra for men does not provide any stimulus for sexual desire/libido. It simply provides a means to achieve an erection more easily WHEN you have desire; are feeling horny. Pardon my bluntness, it's not intended to be vulgar. I'm simply attempting to be clear that for me there is a difference between desire and having an erection. Usually, when I have desire (which is very seldom) I can achieve an erection, so viagra is not needed. But taking viagra does not produce desire or an increase in libido for me and it's my understanding it is not designed to increase desire, only to assist with erectile dysfunction. I've been to my urologist, PCP, HIV doctor, endocrinologist, and psychologist. They all say everything is normal, except my testosterone level. So I have been on testosterone replacement therapy for several months. I inject 1 cc a week. It has done nothing for my libido. Is it possible, if I take female viagra it might provide me with an increased sexual desire?I've been dealing with this frustrating issue for almost 2 years now. ANY insight would be so appreciated.Don
