Guest guest
Permission to pass this message on everywhere! The Late Talker/apraxia half and hour talk show will be on CN8 http://www.cn8.tv at 6:00 PM tonight on a show called " Real Life " http://www.cn8.tv/reallife.asp This show is titled " Not just a late talker " (You know how everyone says " Oh he's just a late talker! " ) and it's about apraxia from the view points of parents (with their apraxic children) and professionals. One of the new advisors for CHERAB is on the show - Dr. Judy Flax, who is a PhD in charge of research for the Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience at Rutgers University - as well as (our resident TV star) Cheryl SLS MA /Educational Consultant who is featured in two commercials as the NJ Teacher Representative. Due to another very exciting project we are working on Marilyn Agin MD was not able to make it to the filming for this show, however there will be others! Tonight's 6:00 PM half and hour talk show on Late Talker vs. Apraxia airs all over New Jersey, land, Pennsylvania and Delaware to over 7.8 million viewers. For anyone outside of those area's you will also be able to watch online as well. Here is what to do. Go to http://www.cn8.tv and click on " streaming video " at 6:00 PM. You will first need to have or download if you don't have " Real Player " You will be able to watch the entire show online! If you can't copy it off your VCR and you want a video copy of the half and hour talk show on Late Talker vs. Apraxia - call CN8 at 732- 602-7492 ext. 2570 You will need to ask for show number 66 - The show is called " Real Life " titled " Not just a late talker " and the original air date is January 14th, 2002. They will be repeating it so it's important to give them the original air date. The cost is about $30 or something -and that does not go to CHERAB but right to CN8. Please direct all your questions to them at 732-602-7492 ext. 2570. I asked the producer and she does believe they will ship internationally. I also heard that this show " zips by " from the producer who watched it already on Friday. She told me that when you have a great show - the time moves quickly-and our show " zipped " . (When a show goes slow -it's not a good show-but I guess that's obvious) Glad to hear it zipped by because that's how it felt to us too! So even though I have not yet seen the final segment myself - I've heard it's great! I can't wait to see it tonight!! Please pass this message on to anyone who is interested in Late Talker vs. Apraxia. =====
