Ever wonder what your preschool apraxic child is thinking?

I've often wondered what types of things my 3.4 yr old daughter is

thinking...or what she would ask for if she could talk. Well our progress

with ProEFA since Jan 1st is continueing! She came up to me yesterday and

spoke a full sentence, with no prompting or just repeating something I had

said! I totally understood her. What great sentence or thought did she

have? " I wan may up " (I want makeup) very matter of factly. LOL Guess you

know for sure you have a very late talking child when the first thing they

are able to talk about is makeup. I'm so excited to finally be able to know

what she is thinking about though and what she wants. After the reaction I

had she spent the rest of yesterday saying " I wan ____ " and then whatever

she wanted. I think she was very happy to finally be able to say what she

wanted also. Her other main one late yesterday was " i wan bardie " (I want

barbie)
