Guest guest
Hi everyone! It was so great to be given an air date and for the show to actually air on the date given! It was just too bad that the only people that were able to watch last night's TV talk show on verbal apraxia were those of us from New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware and land. I just checked with the CN8 producer who we've been working with and she said she will find out why so many were not able to watch the show online last night. Whether it was a crashed server or other technical difficulties -they will be re-running the show again, and will let me know the dates so I can let all of you know too! It was so funny to watch the show from NJ last night because in addition to seeing our VP Cheryl SLS MA /Educational Consultant on the " Not Just A Late Talker " Talk Show -she was also on TWO commercials for NJ Education that aired during two different commercial breaks!! It was like Cheryl TV or something!! I also thought that Dr. Judy Flax, a new advisor to CHERAB and the Research Coordinator of the Tallal Lab and a Senior Research Speech Pathologist for the Infancy Studies Laboratory at the Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience (CMBN) of Rutgers University, Newark, NJhttp://babylab.rutgers.edu/personnel/flax.html was wonderful the way she stressed listening to the parents and to go to the pediatrician with concern -but to push and not wait if they are laid back. I have a few pictures of Liz and Halley's (http://kidstalkback.tripod.com/kidstalkback/)trip " from NJ to Mars " up on the apraxia.cc website now! Just like everything at the apraxia.cc website -you can find it by going to http://www.apraxia.cc and then clicking on " index " - but you will also find a link right from the front page under the picture of the two children. Some more 'really really' exciting things planned coming up you'll be hearing about soon! =====
