Guest guest
Hi, My 2.9 year-old apraxic daughter (also some SI issues) is on ProEfa, which seems to be helping her speech and has cleared her eczema 100%. And she's hit the age of sometimes being a picky eater. I really feel in my gut that she's low in at least some nutrients and supplementation will, besides keeping her healthy, possibly help with speech and some of her frequent (not constant, thank heavens) irritability and tantrums. I'm looking for advice on where to start with vitamin/mineral/dmg and enzyme supplementation. She had a bad experience with her last blood test (for a re-check on food allergies) and we weren't able to get enough to test for nutrient and heavy metal levels. I don't care to put her through another blood test any time soon and am curious about hair testing, but her pediatrician does not believe in the validity of this kind of test. Has anyone got good information on the reliability of the hair test. Or, in lieu of the test, good information on which nutrients to start with and how much? Thanks for help.
