Guest guest
I am so impressed that you contained yourself. My little one loved egg yolks initially and avocado. At six months I started her on plain yogurt at bedtime instead of a bottle. This is what she still has now at two at bedtime . It has worked out really well and helps her sleep through the night ________________________________ From: twincitieserrands <twincitieserrands@...> Sent: Wednesday, April 11, 2012 10:34 PM Subject: This will give you a chuckle Went to friend's house today. She was horrified that my baby's first food was egg yolk. She said I should be giving him cereal. I explained that babies don't develop the enzymes needed to digest grains until after they are 1... Then she says: " but it says right on the box that's it's EASILY DIGESTIBLE " ..... Hahahahahahaha.... I just nodded. I didn't laugh until I got in the car. I was good!!! .. Guest guest
LOL. Too funny. I wish we could just go with what the marketers and dr.'s say. It's hard to be questioning ALL the time. But, such is life. I will have to try the yogurt. My farmer's mom makes some yummy raw milk yogurt that I'm not able to replicate. I've tried and tried. I didn't think of that. Extra probiotics!!! > > > Went to friend's house today. She was horrified that my baby's first food > > was egg yolk. She said I should be giving him cereal. " Im totally with you on that. To be honest, in certain circumstances, I have compromised my principles way too much, just to avoid conflict or uncomfortable situations.  But when my babies health is seriously impacted, watch out here comes mama bear....  " I will have to try the yogurt. " I have not successfully made it either, the raw homemade is definitely gonna be best. But we have had great health results with both kids using PLAIN organic live-cultured yogurt. > > > > > > > > > > >
