Guest guest
Welcome to the group. Your potential girlfriend is lucky to have someone who is interested in learning about her disease. One resource I find helpful to answer a lot of questions is http://arthritisinsight.com/ The links on the left hand side lead to a lot of good summary information. Good luck and God bless. ----- Original Message ----- From: Gem-Ryiler Knightshade Rheumatoid Arthritis Sent: Saturday, August 09, 2003 8:05 PM Subject: Thanks for letting me join Thanks for letting me join!!The woman I want to be my girlfiend just told me that she has RA. Guest guest
Welcome to the group Anela! Great time to start motivating yourself - before the baby is born! When is your due date? What kind of, if any, workouts are you used to doing, and have you been doing any exercise through your pregnancy? My girls are all grown up now, but I think staying home to raise them is a very good thing. I'm glad you're able to do that. thanks for letting me join Hi there , Much thanks for allowing me to join this group. I'd like to introduce myself to everyone as well. I am 22 years old and I'm currently 7 months pregnant. I have 3 year old and 19 month old, who are both girls. I stay at home and take care of my kids. My main reason to join this group was to go some where and have motivation in getting back my pre-pregnant body....when I do have the chance. Well that's all for now. Once again, , thank you for approving my request to join this group. much aloha, Anela

And, I tried to get right back on track as soon as possible - but having been through it before, you know that isn't always an easy task! LOL! Guest guest
Hi , My due date is dec. 27.....right around christmas, i'm hoping it'll be before christmas. I'm used to different sorts of exercises. Tae Bo, Dance exercises, running, exercise machines at the gym, light weight lifting and mostly exercise videos that i can use at home. Though I haven't been doing much exercises through out my pregnancy, but have recently ordered a pre-natal/post-natal exercise dvd, that should be here soon. Guest guest
Hi , Thanks for the welcome. Wow taking three classes back to back, how was that? I know that since my body has changed a lot physically, compared to 4 years ago, I know that I'd get tired in a heart beat. For now I will stick to home workouts, because I'm totally shy about my body. I'm just hoping that I will be blessed once again, to lose all the baby pounds as quick as I had with my previous kids. Just need much motivation. I do second that home workouts and looking how ever you want. It's also good that you don't have to worry about other people looking at you or you feeling weird in a gym full of nice toned people. aloha, Anela > > Welcome, Anela! Guest guest
Hi Carolyn, Glad to meet you. Thanks for the congrats on the pregnancy. I haven't been really working out during my pregnancy. Though I recently bought a pre-natal/post-natal dvd, which I hope will be here soon....I bought it off of the internet. I know that I need to exercise, my legs are getting a little extra fat...which is making it hard for me. I have to buy more maternity jeans because of it. aloha, Anela > hi anela! > im a stay-at-home-mom too -- im carolyn, age 41, living in ontario canada > with my husband and our two sons aged 3 and 5 years. > congratulations on your pregnancy! > joining the group in anticipation of exercising post-partum is good > thinking.... > have you been exercising throughout your pregnancy? > best wishes, > -carolyn. Guest guest
Hi Donna, I wish that I was able to work, I was working up until a few months ago. I had problems with my pregnancy and working. So I decided to leave work and stay at home, making sure that my baby will be healthy and will be born. Thanks for offering help for my post-partum shape up...I know that I will need much help with that. I don't want to do anything wrong that would hurt me...which I know that I have with my previous pregnancy. Don't want to make that mistake again. Yes it isn't easy getting things back on track. Especially with another addition in your life. I do hope that things will get easier soon, but with life the way it is right now....I will need a miracle. My two daughters are so demanding of my time, and get jealous very easily. Well thanks for the welcome. I need to run, my daughter isn't listening. much aloha, Anela > Hi Anela, > Welcome!!!
