Oh, boy, another fun event in the tradition of our first April Foods Day back in

2004! Each event is slightly different but will basically follow the same format

with lots of fun and good food for all. Children are totally welcome and anyone

may bring food or food-related items to sell or barter. Always bring cash or

checks too because you will never get a better opportunity to purchase all this

great food we discuss here. Some of the best vendor/farmers in our community

have already indicated that they will be bringing a bounty of good food. Be sure

to bring coolers and bags to carry home your swag.

This is also a great place to associate names with faces and make connections!

It will also be the best potluck you ever experienced. If you are unable to find

time to make food for this event, don't let that stop you from coming. Some

people just bring plates, beverages or simple snacks like nuts, fruit or even

dark chocolate! It is a practice for St Valentine's Day after all!! We always

ask for a tiny donation to cover the cost of the hall rental and a few supplies.

Here are the details....

VALENTINE'S POTLUCK!

When:Saturday, Feb 11

Time: 2-5pm

Where: lauderdale city hall (we love this venue, it really works well!)

1892 walnut Street 55113

(lauderdale is located off Hwy 280 & Larpenteur Ave)

Bring a dish to share as well as your own tableware (plates, utensils, etc)

and/or

beverage. There will be several great vendors selling and trading goods as well

as a

presentation by Vernon Kuznia. Meal will be immediately after the talk, followed

by another shopping frenzy. Come on out and mingle with some like minded

folks!
