Just a personal note. When I took my apraxic son at 2 to a Gymboree

Music class he to put it nicely had no interest. In retrospect

knowing what I know now, the noise and having difficulty following

along was overwhelming to him. Perhaps some sensory issues going on

here. The gym activies were better because he could go at his own

pace. However I now take my 2 year old who loves the music class. It

is great for fine motor, exploring the instruments and follwoing

along.

Another countrywide music class that I am aware of is Music Together

Places like this are worth checking out if you cannot find a music

therapist or cannot get insurance to cover it.
