Guest guest
Here's a few details from Alvin.... We had new arrivals of Sannen/Alpine goats on June 13th, as well as breeding stock for Berkshire pork. Two young kids, (looked to me like large white rabbits) running and hopping along beside their Mom, as well as eight little black piggies (born here in March) will give the kids some laughs. Small kittens can be seen at times along with our flock of aging hens. Amos and Esther have baby chicks and small broiler chickens as well as cows, calves and horses. We plan to leave for the dairy at 9:45 am, (40 min drive). (directions available if you want to meet there). A second dairy tour is possible later in the day, if there is enough interest.. Might include some haymaking.. From Roseville, the drive is nearly 100 miles to our farm at 33236 Oakland Rd Freeport MN 56331 You will want to travel west on Interstate 94 toward St Cloud. Exit #140 at Freeport. Go left on County Rd 11 for 4.4 miles. Go Right on 330th Street (gravel road) for 1.5 miles. Go right on Oakland Rd for .2 miles. 2nd home on the right, house is gray with black trim. Look for the 33236 number near mailbox. Very large white barn is visible (on right) as you approach Oakland Rd. Call if needed: 320-250-6462
