Guest guest
Hello Everyone! I want to start by thnaking everyone for all of the help you have been to me and my family. I have learned so much from just reading these emails and from people specifically helping me with questions. I feel like we are really lucky to have found this list serv. What a caring community this is. I KNOW that without this list serv we would not be where we are today. 4.6 is doing great!!! He has been steadily improving and making huge leaps from time to time. Just recently he found his F sound out of nowhere, he just miraculously could pronounce his F's in any part of the word. I get so many ideas about how to work with him, games to play, books to read, and even music to listen to from this list serv. We have been helped by Pro EFA, advice on how to get him more therapy time, etc. I think what feels best is to know there are so many of you out there who really can understand what I am feeling and I can relate to so many of your stories. Being informed has helped us to have a GO FOR IT attitude. I feel like we can do anything, and I am not afraid to ask for the best for him and my daughter. Kaylee 2.2 is doing great. I really feel that she is apraxic as well. Though we did not see a drastic improvement in 's speech with ProEFA, we did with Kaylee. Kaylee had about 6 words when we started her on ProEFA in Sept., it took about a week to see a real change, and then BOOM within another week she had about 30-40 words, (articulation lacking) and she would try to repeat anything, even if it didn't come out even close. Now she is putting together 2 words and her articulation is REALLY improving. She has too many words in her vocab to count. I am soooooo proud of her. I only wish we had found out about ProEFA earlier for . I do have a question for anyone who made it through this long letter: Does anyone give their 4+ or older child 2 capsules of ProEFA a day? likes his and want to know if he can have 2 a day. I don't want to give it to him if it is not safe, but at the same time wonder if it might help him make more drastic improvements in his speech. Thanks again!
