Guest guest
The IEP Guide group has a lot of people knowledgeable about getting services from school districts. I would ask them. Here's the link: IEP_guide > Last week when I mention went for an eval. for the agumentive device > someone mentioned that the school has a way to pay for it right? Guest guest
My children had chicken pox (8 years ago) and came through just fine. I had mumps as a child. No problems. My husband and his 5 siblings had the measles... no problems (that was 30+ years ago, but nevertheless they did fine!) My grandfather's family all had smallpox (except one sister who apparently was immune), no one in their family of 9 had any problems... I think most people expect the worse and have been brought up to fear these diseases. Yes, some people have complications, and some may even die, but as a whole I have learned that the long term risks of vaccination far outweigh the risks involved with getting the diseases naturally. And there's always homeopathy to help people through! : ) Kay **************** > How many of your children who are not vax'd have gotten any of the diseases > they vax for, espcially the measles?? Guest guest
My eldest 3 are vaxed till 18 mo none of them had any of the diseases. I know suspect my eldest had whooping cough but not sure. My baby who is NOT vaxed had pertussis (whooping Cough) at 6 mo but so far that is all we have seen. No measles here. Guest guest
both me and me brother had measles, mumps, rubella and chickenpox as children, with no probs. this was about 20 yrs ago. back then, everyone got these diseases, and it wasn't a big thing for anyone. in fact, it was almost celebrated when a child got one of them, since everyone knew you had to have it at some time. now, where I live, vaccines are optional (though recommended and strongly pressured) and by the time they entered the MMR vaccine, a public study revealed that about 25% of the public (who was gonna be the ones to decide whether to vaccinate their children) was opposed to introducing that vaccine. nonetheless... now we have it and they complain about the rate being too low (about 90%). cheers per Question for everyone! > > This may seem like a silly question adn maybe I have asked this here before, > I'm not sure, being mercury toxic myself, my brain gets a little fuzzy > sometimes: > > How many of your children who are not vax'd have gotten any of the diseases > they vax for, espcially the measles??
