Guest guest
Hello, I have a 3:8 year old daughter who has been taking Pro DHA by Nordic Naturals for 7 weeks. It has 250mg of DHA & 100mg of EPA. She has developmental dyspraxia. I was reading research has shown that EPA, not DHA, was more effective in reducing the problems with attention, perception and other things associated with dyspraxia (and dyslexia and ADHD). The article recommended 500mg of EPA to start, then reduce to half or one third the amount after three months depending on the individual. It didn't mention age appropriate doses, so I was wondering if that dose would be alright for someone my daughter's age. Can one get too much EPA? I have seen supplements with really high levels of EPA. I'd appreciate your thoughts on this. Thanks! Janet
