Guest guest
OK, when I joined I don't know if I mentioned I am a freelance writer, and now that some of my other projects are completed I am looking into writing about Apraxia - from the perspective of a parent of a " late Talker, " and looking at the prospect of a child with a disorder such as this. What I'm looking for is a few Speech Pathologists, or neurologists who would like to add comments and insight to the article regarding the disorder and the differences between a speech delay and verbal apraxia. Also a parent with a child who has been officially diagnosed with Verbal apraxia. This article is as much for my benefit (in the research neccesary, as I wait for Dylans evaluation) as the idea to increase awareness of apraxia and the problems faced by parents as they try to cope with the disorder, and people who try to say their child is just slow to talk... Anyone interested in being quoted in the article should email me @ capnkiwi@.... THANKS! PJ
