I just recently placed my son who is 2 1/2 and dx'd pdd into a regular

Montessori preschool. In the Montessori setting the children are not grouped by

age but rather than by ability. All children differ in ability so in most

Montessori preschool settings you get a range of children who are 18 months - 36

months in age. In this setting developmental delays are not as noticeable to

other children. The Montessori school offers a low pressure loving evironment

for our son and our therapists treat him weekly at the school. Just a thought

for you since you were concerned about your child feeling different around

typical developing peers.
