Guest guest
Leigh and Sandi, I was also going to suggest looking into 4th nerve palsy/ superior oblique palsy, same thing. My daughter also has this though I didn't see much tilting, but she does have a very slight case of it. You might want to go see a ophthalmologist and question 4th nerve palsy. Lorna had been seeing a opthal. since 6 months for poor eye contact, superior oblique palsy wasn't picked up until age four when we found a new ped. opthal. Here are some links I have found helpful. http://cim.ucdavis.edu/Eyes/Version1/eyesim.htm click on CN 4 it will show you how the eye changes and moves. http://www.pedseye.com/FNP.htm http://www.aapos.org/pappostp5/paper96_8.html this one talks about facial asymmetry with superior oblique palsy/4th nerve palsy, Lorna also has facial asymmetry. http://www.smbs.buffalo.edu/oph/ped/cn4.htm http://www.revoptom.com/handbook/sect6d.htm Also their a good article I received from March of dimes shows pictures Harley's Pediatric Ophthalmology 4th edition.
