Speaking of backyard birds...

We have been interested in raising backyard chickens as a family for a while but

had very limited space. We recently moved to a home with an acre of property

and we finally began researching and planning only to find out that it is

against city ordinance in Andover. I don't find my request to raise a few hens

to be an unreasonable one so my husband and I would like to bring the issue

before city coucil in hopes to bring about some change to the current ordinance.

If anyone has any experience or insight, please do share with me. Perhaps

there are some Andover residents who might be interested in joining forces as
