Guest guest
Hi Everyone, My almost four-year son in the preschool disabled program in our school district (in NJ). His IEP review is scheduled for next month. I was talking with his teacher today who is preparing a Brigance (don't know the full name -- it's some sort of standardized measure of a child's development/skills) and she mentioned that I should look it over and tell her if there's anything I diagree with, because the Brigance is the basis of her report that goes in my son's permanent record. My Question: Is there any reason I should be concerned about what goes into my son's permanent record? Can any of the information in it be used against him by the school system in later years? Your experience/comments are appreciated. Audrey S. -- ********************************************************************** IMPORTANT: Please reply to niteowl9@....
