Island Dolphin Care mentioned in this article from Exceptional Parent

magazine you posted is the same place I've been speaking to and that

I sent my first post out about! Actually I just spoke to them again

and they will be writing an article for the CHERAB Foundation. If

anyone is interested in watching dolphin therapy -I don't know the

exact dates but they will be featured on an upcoming special on PAX

TV again for the second time sometime in May on a show called Miracle

Pets. They will also be featured sometime this April on National

Geographic Today the TV show. (many of the shows run more than one

date) I've spoken with Hoagland who founded Island Dolphin

Care with his wife Deena due to their own son who benefited from

dolphin therapy in various ways including communication. He shared

some wonderful stories about the therapy successes, and Gentes

who told me that many families use the 5 day program as a family

vacation that they can all participate in (along with your child

receiving therapy -the siblings and parents are encouraged to

participate in the program and are also able to swim with the

dolphins at a certain times/days too!) Many families will go to

Florida and first go to Disney -then take the 5 days to go to Island

Dolphin Care -then go to enjoy the Keys. Again -if anyone is from

this area and goes through the program -please let us all know. It

sounds like so much fun -and they say it is!

care has been in a number of magazines and TV shows in addition to

the Exceptional Parent article just posted including for TV:
