Now , my dear friend. You mustn't be so harsh about drugs. Of

course, many of them work and have incredible value when they are

needed. There is no question that drugs have a life-saving place in

medicine.

The problem is in our profit-driven medical system, the predatory drug

companies do what all big business does. It's normal for big money

business. It uses every devious method that is not regulated against

to ply its wares.

This country needs to stop all drug company advertising; stop all drug

company ads in medical journals and really, change to a socialized

medical system in general ala the movie " Sicko " and actually take care

of people in a smart, humane manner. ALL people should have quality

health care, regardless of socio-economic status.

If we took 100 billion dollars a year out of the Pentagon's 463

billion dollar a year budget and spread it around to humane things

like socialized medicine and quality education, everyone would have
