Are you preparing for an IEP meeting? Do you need to learn more about

special education rights & responsibilities? Do you need to fine-tune your

advocacy skills?

Join Pete and Pam in beautiful Columbia, SC for slaw Boot

Camp, a two-day intensive training program in special education law and

advocacy.

If you are tired of cold, grey winter days and need a break, Columbia SC

is an ideal destination! In April, daytime high temperatures are in the

70's and low 80's.

When? Friday, April 5 and Saturday April 6, 2002.

On Friday, you'll learn about special education law, rights and

responsibilities, tests and measurements, and how to use the bell curve to

measure educational progress or regression.

On Saturday, you'll learn about SMART IEPs and tactics and strategy for

the effective advocate. We will test your skills and knowledge and give

you feedback about your progress. We provide demonstrations of strategies

and techniques.
