The Association Method is Coming!

The Association Method is Coming!

Full-time, intensive programming that makes sense for severely

communication-disordered, school-age kids can be a reality. We are now

laying the foundation to bring the Association Method to this region.

TALK, inc. (Teaching Apraxic, Autistic, and Language-disordered Kids), a 510

©(3) organization, has been given the opportunity to introduce the

Association Method to the Delaware Valley through the aegis of the Magnolia

Speech School of Mississippi.

On the cutting edge of intensive intervention for communication-based

disorders, Magnolia has been altering the course of young lives, for nearly

half a century using the Association Method. We are honored and thrilled

that this United Way and ish Rite Charity has selected TALK, Inc. to

demonstrate that its life-changing educational program can be replicated

elsewhere. They have agreed to lend their time, talent and expertise to

enable us to establish The Magnolia Speech School Demonstration Program, in

suburban Philadelphia.

It will be a classroom-based center for clinical training, on-going research

and documentation -- as well as direct application of The Association Method

to a select cohort of children, as a demonstration " model " .

We have the mandate. We have the commitment and now we need the financial

means. Please Help.

Support the WALK FOR TALK, to be held on Sunday, June 9th, in Dittmar Park,

Radnor Township, Wayne/St. 's, PA from 11am til 2pm.

There are many ways to participate.

1. Be a team captain. Recruit 10 walkers/supporters to each raise $50-$100

and join us on June 9th.

2. Be a walker -- $25 per adult. Come out and join the celebration.

3. Make a donation. Send checks payable to TALK, Inc. at the address below.

Talk, Inc. c/o Melinda Kotler, 104 Great Oak Drive, Downingtown, PA 19335.
