Guest guest
Luke, I've had BA removal about 4 times now, (and will probably have more as it's migrating down my butt into my thigh). I had a horrible infection the first time, but on subsequent removals nothing. prescribes antibiotics as prophylaxis so I don't think you have much to worry about. I would just make sure to keep the puncture site clean and use some topical antibiotic like neosporin or bacitracin. Any doctors in the house want to comment? Larry Re: BioAlcamid removal question After I had some products like BA and the other products that was using in 2002 injected into my face, I developed a redness and swollenness under my rt eye that looked like a mild black eye shiner. At first Clinic Estetica tried to show my pretreatment photos to prove this was a preexisting condition. That was a joke!. I was told by an expert that this happened bec. didn't inject the product deep enough into the dermis.. Nothing that was attempted to help the black eye worked. ( Lots of kenalog injections,,. lasers ,peels etc.. Now, it seems that the BA might have migrated there and it's removal might eliminate the redness under my eye. Dr. Casavantes has told he that out of the 12 patients that have had BA removal under the eye area, 1 had an infection and it isn't pretty. I'd like to hear from anyone that had BA removal and either had an infection or did something that might have prevented an infection from the removal. I'm not going crazy that I have BA in my face.. If I didn't have this reaction I'd leave it alone..I'm happy with how I look, except for the eye. But if I can fix it and get my face back to where I'm not asked if I got into a fight, then this that might be an option. Life should be easier. So should your homepage. Try the NEW AOL.com.
