Ah...I was being tongue in cheek. Of course drugs work. When used wisely, correctly, for the appropriate indication.And supplements can work too. We know, e.g., that a multivitamin can significantly slow HIV disease progression and reduce morbidity and mortality. Acetylcarnitine can help to manage neuropathy. Glutamine or calcium for diarrhea (presuming the etiology is understood). And so on.It's the media I increasingly loathe for being lazy, incompetent or simply bought by Pharma. M.
