Guest guest
I am in an appeals process with my insurance company because they have denied my son's OT. I am having a really hard time with this because the insurance company classifies Dyspraxia as a learning disablity. I would like to find a definition that I can quote that shows the neurological source of dyspraxia but doesn't mention the word developmental. Has anyone found anything like this before? Guest guest
, A speech therapist recently gave me an article that discussed how to get insurance companies to pay for apraxia of speech. The name of the person listed as a contact is Janet McCarty through the Action Center. Her phone number is 800-498-2071, ext. 4194, and her email is jmccarty@.... I hope that this helps. Guest guest
Go to the DDAT Centre website and look at their teachers notes, among other things. They classify dyspraxia as a cerebellar dysfunction and say it is correctable. Good luck Sara In message <a9n814+og7leGroups>, radko98 <doofysfam@...> writes >I am in an appeals process with my insurance company because they >have denied my son's OT.
