Expressing Freedom: Call for Entries

Expressing Freedom is a juried exhibition that is open to young artists,

ages 16-25, living in the United States who have a physical, cognitive,

or mental disability. Art entries should illustrate some aspect of

" Expressing Freedom " as it relates to the artist. Artwork may also

illustrate the artist's feelings toward his or her disability or toward

learning to live with their disability and represent concepts such as

self-image, healing, rehabilitation, mobility, strength, movement, hope,

wellness, or independence. Launched by VSA Arts and Volkswagen of

America, Inc.. Entries must be postmarked by June 15, 2002.
