Guest guest
Barbara and Bridget, You guys are right on.......I noticed this five years ago with my son (hypotonia, SID and global dyspraxia) when he was 1 1/2 and it STILL happens!!! He has had a stuffy nose and cough the last two days and last night I could not get him to bed he was just asking SO MANY questions!! Putting pajamas on: why do I have to go to bed at seven and CJ at eight? I replied that it was partly because he was younger and partly because he needs more sleep and explained that diff. people need diff amounts of sleep. Micah: will I ever catch up to CJ and be older than him? Me: no Micah: well I wish I had been the first baby and not the second. In the bathroom: why can't you see the stuff in the toilet when it goes down? where do the pipes go? .....etc. etc. etc. Then, by now, I know to expect that in a few days, when he is better, he will be more quiet and with less initiative. I have always thought it was the strangest thing that when he doesn't feel well that he talks more. It is so interesting that more than one of us have noticed this. COULD ANY OF THE DOCTORS COMMENT ON THIS??? COULD THIS OBSERVATION LEAD TO AN AREA OF RESEARCH???? Carol
