's developmental pediatrician thinks that instead of apraxia she may have a

dysfunction of cranial nerves (not much facial expression, poor tongue movement,

etc). I had not realized how delayed she truly was in the language portion of

the testing. She has scattered scores though from 6 mth skills to 12 month

skills in all areas like language, fine motor and gross motor(she is 18 mths).

Just wondering if anyone has heard of cranial nerves being dysfunctional and if

any families have this in their life.

Thanks!
