Guest guest
I had to share this humorous story with you. Every Wednesday and my daughters preschool is Show-and-Tell day. On Tuesday evening, I told her that tomorrow was show-and-tell and she needed to go and pick something out. I asked her what she was going to take. She answered, " Poop. " I said, " You can't take poop to school. " She looked at me and said, " Uh-huh! " My husband said she didn't say that. I asked her again what she was going to take. She looked at her dad and said, " Poop!! " This happens to be a new word!!! We also heard a new word this evening coming home from shopping. She looked at me and said, " Mom, boo boo. " I was a little confused, I asked her if she meant booby or owie. She took off her coat and began lifting her shirt and pointing, I quickly learned that she didn't mean owie!! At this point I don't care what the words are just so they are coming, you know. However, I am glad that this happened in the vehicle and not inside the store!! Another thing I would like to share in her progress is that she is beginning to write everthing!! She can write, her name, mom, dad, and two of her uncles names so far. This has just been accomplished within the last 2-3 weeks. Lately she showing a big interest in the alphabet. I get so excited when she shows improvement like this!!!! Just thought that sometimes we can all use a little humor to lighten things up a bit. Thank you,
