Guest guest
Well, all I have to say is thank God for vaccines. My children would probably be dead if they were not immunized. Both of my daughters almost died of RSV (I wish there was a vaccine for RSV). Whooping cough is even more serious than RSV. My daughter's doctors told me that whooping cough use to be very prevalent, and my daughters will die if they catch it. Whooping cough is making a comeback in this country because people are not immunizing their children. Some immunizations don't take, so you want everyone to be immunized so that there is not an outbreak. My doctor's told me to definitely vaccinate my daughters. The risk from the vaccines is minimal, and the potential of the vaccine is so great. I'm also greatful for the chickenpox vaccine. My daughters now have asthma and are routinely put on steroids to help eliminate their asthma attacks. If my daughters caught chickenpox while on the steroids, chickenpox can be deadly. Thank God we live in a time where we are not worried about dying from awful diseases like whooping cough or becoming crippled from polio. I'm looking forward to my children getting the smallpox vaccine when it becomes available. Just think how horrible if we have a terroist attack with smallpox.
