Dr's report

Hi groupI finally made it to my hep doctor at the VA clinic for follow up on my last blood work, and got pretty good news, and feel really blessed for the time being. They did fail to get my genotype. Some how they lost the specimen before they checked. But,the tests show no inflamation,no apparent damage to my liver.I am still scheduled for my ultra-sound.But,I was told it should look very possitive. My liver function is great. they gave me my hep a and b shot today, and I have a series of two more shots over the next 6 months. When my next blood work is done a year from now. They will test for genotype then.I feel relieved for now,and will try to do what I gotta do to keep this stuff under control. No tx now. Thank God!Mike

Excellent Mike,

No need to treat if there is no damage.

It would be good to know your genotype though,so don't forget about that.
