Guest guest
Hello, I have been lurking (and hate to admit deleting many posts as they are too many to keep up with at times). This one I thought maybe I could respond to regarding the person that has twins and they want them separated. The schedule that you described sounds like it would be more confusing than beneficial. I too have twins and even though many " school " people think it's better to separate them as " they will learn better " I have not found this to be the case! Each of my twins is their own separate person anyway they function just fine in the same classroom. I will tell you that I think 30 kids in a class is way too many! That I would have much more of a problem with! I like the smaller classrooms as I have found that in the Public system they do really try to do a good job with special ed...at times they don't! If the teacher has too many kids he/she can't devote the time to implementing the special attention to the child with special needs and unless that child is a behavior problem the child tends to get overlooked. I think these first few years of school are very important and really do set the stage for later learning. Just my opinion...... Have a great day!
