Guest guest
Dear Folks, Has Cheney mentioned anything about Post Polio Syndrome the Dr. Bruno talks about? My mom thinks I had non-paralytic polio in 1947 when my brother was in the hospital with it(non-paralytic). I came down with CFIDS almost 40 years to the day. I can not tolerate STRESS of any sort. I just have to asy to H ----with what ever is stressing me. I stay cold and I am weak--all the things of my CFIDS and more. I can't help but wonder about this. Guest guest
FOR NERVE REGENERATION ... LEDT (LED THERAPY) OR LLLT (LOW LEVEL LASER THERAPY) IS THE BEST I'VE FOUND. AS FAR AS THE SEBBORIA .. I GET THAT AT TIMES. SCALPICIN ON THE MARKET IS VERY EXPENSIVE BUT IT WORKS. I KEPT THE BOTTLE AND BOUGHT THE MAIN INGREDIENT FROM THE PHARMACY WHICH A POUND FOR 10 BUCKS WILL FILL UP ABOUT SEVERAL HUNDRED OF THOSE BOTTLES. ACTUALLY JUST KEEPING BETTER HYGIENE AND NOT USING CONDITIONERS HELPED ME THE MOST. I EVEN HAD TO USE SILVER AT ONE POINT IT WAS SO BAD BUT NOT NOW. HOPE THIS HELPS. EMAIL ME PERSONALLY ABOUT THE LASER STUFF IF YOU LIKE.
Guest guest
, I sent off a check today for 1 red short sleeve dancer size large. Mail will be slow because of the attacks today. I had a few bad moments as my husband works and lives in lower Manhattan, just about a mile from the WTC. He called early to say he and the rest of his company were fine - shell shocked but fine. Thanks, Atwood BayardA@...
Guest guest
Forgive me, I was so grateful to find out that my husband was OK, that I forgot about all the others. They will all be in my prayers tonight. It's too big a horror to fully comprehend at this time. May the Lord have mercy on their souls. I mix it with Yoplait, vanilla yogurt and she doesn't seem to mind it too much. We hope we are prepared enough. and the others who posted their surgery experience - THANK YOU. I am actually kind of nervous but I am holding up pretty well for him. But for you all in the group and all the support you gave me I definitely would not have known how to handle this. My heartfelt thanks. I will write to you as soon as I can after he gets back home. Please feel free to mail me any last minute pointers or advice. Love ya all Anusha ps. Thanks to you all, both arun's surgeon and his anesthesiologist asked me, " Are u from a medical background? Guest guest
Hello-- Interesting question. I suspect that blind people close their eyes when they sleep, and their eyes get droopy when they are sleepy. It would be easy to test to see what happens if you cover your eyes with a blindfold, but keep your eyes open. Thanks, Gene > ________________________________________________________________________ > > Message: 5 > Date: Thu, 11 Dec 2003 14:39:30 -0500 > From: Goldring <paul.goldring@...> > Subject: Alpha in the blind > > Does anybody know if people who are blind or who have been blind from > birth suppress alpha in any way? > > > >
Guest guest
Probably not. But you have to deal with all the eye-blink artifact at F3 that you don't have at C3. First-timers can get frustrated if they get into trying to hold down the theta bar and kt goes up whenever they blink. Worse yet, the trainer can get frustrated if the young rookies discover that there is something they can control quite easily just by batting their eyelashes. Pete Re: Digest Number 580 Pete, thanks for reply. Yes, it is 1.9 I'm talking about. I know you are right about BE being better for squish training. One other question re: Jo's question on demo on F3. I understand that the central strip is safe bet but can one really do any harm by inhibiting theta at F3?
