Guest guest
We basically had the same fear with putting our son out for an MRI. He has wheezing asthma. See what the dr. says. We needed to sedate ie and it took us 6 mths. to finally make sure his breathing issues were somewhat resolved. It turned out he had Hydrocephalus (enlargement of brain ventricles due to obstruction of CSF in his brain. If we waited any longer, they would not have been able to install his shunt. If it turns out being an issue, they always have O2 on hand. Make sure you meet the anthes. person and make sure you like and trust him or her. Hope all goes well!
