One of the many unique formats of the May 3-5 conference is a three hour session where families and practitioners sign up for short, one-on-one consultations. Conference enrollment is limited and early registration is highly recommended. Full paid registration through March 15th provides a second registration at half costs. Information can be found at the conference Web site, http://www.4healthykids.org or through e-mailing the conference director at info@.... *********** Alternative Therapies for Special Kids (www.4healthykids.org ) is excited to announce an international conference to be held in Marlborough, Massachusetts (suburb of Boston) from May 3rd to 5th, 2002. Practitioners, doctors, and researchers will provide information and assistance in improving the lives of children with neurological and other disorders through a range of alternative and complementary therapies. The conference will be divided into three tracts: Therapies and Research, Assistive Technologies, and Medicines/Biochemicals/Homeopathy. This conference is specifically designed so that parents will have one-on-one time to confer with the speakers and for practitioners to meet and to network. Early registration is important and through March 20th, discounted registration is available. There are also some partial scholarships available. Over the next two months, the conference's list of therapies and presenters will continue to expand. If there is a therapy or practitioner that you would like to be invited, please contact the Information Director, Darien Small (darien@...). There is also an e-mail list for conference news and updates. Full conference information can be found at: www.4healthykids.org Please share this information with other list you may be a part of as well as with families who may be interested in attending.
